Gnomes were once considered "earth elementals" who provided protection especially of buried treasure and minerals in the ground.  They were symbols of good luck and would be used to watch over crops and gardens or tucked into barn rafters to watch over livestock.  Myths claim that gnomes are sensitive to sunlight and it may even turn them to stone.

Add the Frankenstein to your Halloween decor this season to scare off any unwated foes.   Be sure to keep the "treasured candy bowl" close by as he is ready to gaurd it with his life, well, his second life.  And don't forget to grab his partner the Bride of Frankenstein.  Together the pair make quite the spooky couple.
