This Pilgrim Girl Gnome is ready to cook a Thanksgiving dinner as she is bringing a woven basket full of fruits and vegetables.  All items on this gnome are handmade.  Her body and boots have a weighted filler and polyfill to be able to position her to stand.  She has a traditional apron and coif on her head from the era.  She is ready to celebrate with her two companions; Pilgrim Boy Gnome and Turkey Gnome.  Bring all three home today to celebrate with you.

Gnomes were once considered "earth elementals" who provided protection especially of buried treasure and minerals in the ground.  They were symbols of good luck and would be used to watch over crops and gardens or tucked into barn rafters to watch over livestock.  Myths claim that gnomes are sensitive to sunlight and it may even turn them to stone.
