How adorable is this Turkey Gnome? Can't you see him running through the woods hiding among the leaves in the fall?  He is dressed in warm fuzzy clothes to avoid the chill in the autumn air.  He has real undied feathers, bendable arms, and boots to help him navigate to forest floor.   He's ready to hang out on your shelf or mantel this season.

Gnomes were once considered "earth elementals" who provided protection especially of buried treasure and minerals in the ground.  They were symbols of good luck and would be used to watch over crops and gardens or tucked into barn rafters to watch over livestock.  Myths claim that gnomes are sensitive to sunlight and it may even turn them to stone.
